"Working At Smosh Sucks" is the 15th episode of the Smosh series Smoffice. It was released on June 9, 2021.
Video Description
Don’t let the glitz and glam fool you— working at Smosh kinda sucks. Just ask Lisa from HR.
This video was shot with a very limited crew. All cast & crew followed all CDC and California COVID-19 precautions and filming guidelines.
Plot
Lisa, the Director of Human Resources at Smosh, is visibly uncomfortable with actions Damien, Shayne, Spencer, and Courtney do, yet concludes that Smosh isn't much different than any other workplace and she runs Smosh like a pretty tight ship.
In a meeting, C.F.M. angrily reminds the staff that making eye contact with her is prohibited. She catches Tim looking at her. When Tim looked again after being allowed, C.F.M. threatened to punch him, only to be stopped by Lisa, who told C.F.M. that the mid riff can't be shown. Tim confirms that that was the one bothering him.
Later, Ian comes to Lisa due to his feet "not working." Lisa reveals that his shoes are on the wrong feet again, so Ian Mr. President orders her to put it correctly, and orders Shayne to be his chair. When Lisa protested against his orders, he, along with Jackie, childishly begged for it, causing Lisa to give them a form that approves the actions. Mr. President and Jackie sign it while laughing.
When Lisa reminds Damien to give personal evaluations in her office, Damien gives out some figures of speech then leaves. In each of their interviews, they both admit that nothing going on between them as they don't love each other. When Lisa wants Damien to sign the new social media policy, Damien predicts that about their future if they'll be together. Whenever Lisa says "okay," and looks at him with discomfort, Damien tells her to stop.
While she tells that everything's fine, she's distraught when Courtney (accurately) measures Jackie's weight and then and challenges the latter, Shayne, and Ian for a wrestling match. Shayne hears Lisa saying that she's treated like the staff's mom so he wants her to clean the big poop he accidentally defecated.
Meanwhile, Damien tells that he wishes to run away with Lisa, but he got trapped in Tim's pyramid scheme. He then promotes the "Samurai Explosion" energy drink. Later, he became jealous of Jackie for spending time with Lisa (by doing a performance review).
