We Need To Tell You Something is a Smosh main channel announcement video, released on YouTube on June 20, 2024. It serves as an announcement that the main channel will be going on a two-month break.

Description

BEACH BALL!

Synopsis

Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla both appear on beachwears and in front of an image of a beach, projected through a green screen, to announce that they are going on a break. The two then reminisce the past year of the channel with the sketches and memorable videos that they made, and how much they had fun with their audience and with their crew.

However, Ian emphasized that making those videos take up a lot of their work, so they decided to have a break. Despite this, they tease new bonus content (and their tentative thumbnails) for channel members that will be uploaded during this time, starring some members of the Smosh Family. Anthony then mentions that once they return after the break, they will be trying new concepts that they have not done before on the channel, which will include everyone in the Smosh Family.

They also announce the premiere of their new podcast, Lunchtime with Smosh: The Podcast, on the SmoshCast YouTube channel, as well as potential new podcasts starring other members of the Smosh Family.
