Wasp (real name Hope Van Dyne) is a character played by Courtney Miller who first debuted in 2019.
Wasp is a superhero appearing in Marvel Comics. Created by Stan Lee, Ernie Hart, and Jack Kirby, she first appeared in Tales to Astonish #44. She has the ability to shrink to a height of several centimeters, fly with insectoid wings, and fire bio-electric energy blasts. The character to most often have the mantle of Wasp is Janet Van Dyne. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Janet van Dyne debuts in 2015's Ant-Man, while the main holder of the mantle of Wasp is her daughter Hope, who debuts in the same film and takes up the mantle in its 2018 sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp. Janet is played by Michelle Pfeiffer and Hope is played by Evangeline Lilly. In the MCU, Hope strikes up a relationship with the current Ant-Man, Scott Lang.
Hope and Scott are in relationship counseling. They struggle to describe to their therapist something that Scott can easily control the size of, but Hope mentions that it remains "proportional". Their therapist infers that they are referring to Scott's penis, while the couple initially denies but admits that they are.
