This school is a fictional institution introduced in "Oh, the Joys of Puberty," a Smosh.com article submitted by[1] Staff member Ian Hecox[2] under the username "PubicSmosh" and published on November 13, 2002. In the story, the school had a group of seventh-grade students that included Ian Hecox and employed the teacher Mr. Slater, who taught the seventh-grade students mathematics. That year, Hecox started puberty and began experiencing involuntary erections and orgasms, both at home and at the school, where he would walk around with his hands in his pants all day in an attempt to conceal his bulge.[1]
Despite this, he was continuously laughed at by his peers. Additionally, Slater smiled at him whenever he was erect in his math class, which made Hecox wonder if his teacher was doing so specifically because of the erections. He recounted these events, including his experiences with puberty at his school, in an article on Smosh.com while under threat from a group of killer gnomes.[1]
