A Smosh character in the form of a homeless man first appeared in "Oh, the Joys of Puberty," a 2002 Smosh.com article written by Ian Hecox, in which the homeless man stole the bedsheets from Hecox's fictional counterpart from a local laundromat.

Fictional biography

In 2002, the homeless man found ejaculate-stained bedsheets inside a laundromat left by fifteen-year-old Ian Hecox, who had returned home after forgetting quarters for the laundry machine. When Hecox returned with the money, he saw the homeless man running out of the store with his bedsheets while screaming about the delicious "frosting" on them. The homeless man fled with Hecox's bedsheets, leaving Hecox to return home and lied to his mother that ninjas had once again stolen his bedsheets.
