Synopsis
Ian, Courtney, and Olivia recap what has been happening over the course of the past few months: their parent company Defy Media went out of business, the future of Smosh itself was uncertain, but everyone stuck together and they made it through.
Ian then happily confirms that Rhett & Link have bought Smosh and they are now part of Mythical Entertainment, where they have far more creative freedom. Keith reminds viewers that this is new territory for them, so there may be a few "hiccups" along the way. Damien abruptly chimes in and announces that Smosh, Smosh Pit, ElSmosh, and Smosh Games are "all coming back" and Matt Raub mentions that they will be experimenting and trying out "crazy new stuff" on all of the channels.
Noah mentions that the support of the fans greatly helped in getting Smosh back on its feet. Courtney continues and suggests that fans buy a new shirt reading "i helped." (a phrase that Shayne instead drew onto his chest).
Ian thanks the fans again explains that if fans are curious to know about everything that has happened between now and the collapse of Defy, they can give a listen to SmoshCast, their new weekly podcast available on iTunes and its own channel, and eventually other digital platforms.
Ian wraps up the video by summarizing that Smosh is essentially starting over and everyone is excited.
