The Challenge Pit was a series that aired primarily on Smosh Pit , originally as part of Squad Vlogs . On March 5, 2019, it became its own official series. The series went on hiatus on December 3 , 2019 , before returning for two episodes on May 13 , 2021 , and May 20 , 2021 .
The series was effectively canceled in February 2023, as a new version of the series premiered in the same year with a different format.
