Smosh Wiki

"The 20th Anniversary Smoscars" is a special episode of the Smosh series Bit City[1]. It was released on YouTube on November 19, 2025, and featured the "Smoscars" (portmanteau of the Academy Awards' Oscars awards ceremony and Smosh), a virtual award ceremony and parody of the Oscars, in celebration of the brand's 20th anniversary.

Premiering at 4:00 P.M. Pacific Time (PT) that day, it ran for nearly two hours. During that time, peak viewership numbers reached over 41K concurrent users[2], with the video itself reaching 1M views only 3 days later[3].

The video featured various characters throughout Smosh history, as well as guest appearances from MacDoesIt (a frequent collaborator in Smosh videos) and former Smosh Family member Lasercorn. It also included a congratulatory message from Neal Mohan, the current CEO of YouTube.

Description[]

We’re celebrating 20 years of Smosh with The Smoscars!

Nominees and Winners[]

On September 29, 2025 the video featuring all the nominees for the awards was uploaded on the Smosh channel as a members-only video. The link was available to non-members for a short while via the video description, seemingly by accident, but was soon thereafter patched up. The voting for the most of the nominations was open for a week, until exactly 10:00 a.m. PT of October 6.[4]

If you go there you can make an account with them or online or whatever and then you put money in and purchase whatever stocks you’d like. I suggest the vanguard (same as s&p 500) because the goal is to have your money you don’t need right now (like for 10+ years) and make it into a much larger sum. A bank might be like 1% a year and the s&p will usually be like 8-15%” (Noah to Olivia)
  • "General ideas for me or anyone: Poo/ice cream hair Ariel" (Noah to Erin, our director of Bit City)
  • "810ish arrival! Sorry haven't gotten down my routine with the extra cat, twice as many mouths and poops" (Noah to Amanda, our EVP of Production)
