Sword AF was a podcast created by Smosh that aired on SmoshCast. Debuting on July 5, 2023, it aired every Wednesdays. It was formerly a Smosh Games series during its first season before it was reworked into an audio-only podcast for the second season. It is a spin-off of long-running Smosh Games series Board AF.

Damien Haas is the Dungeon Master as Shayne Topp, Angela Giarratana, Amanda Lehan-Canto and Chanse McCrary embark on an adventure in a world of Damien's design. This uses rules, races, classes, and more from Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition (5e).
Announcement[]
On the June 18, 2023 reunion episode of Board AF Legacy: Betrayal, the cast announced that they would be taking on a D&D campaign. Not much was known about the plot or characters at that point.
Smosh posted Animorphs-style photos of the cast turning into their characters on July 3. The character art is made by Odd Jacobson.
On September 20, 2023, Damien announced that the series was renewed for a second season after much positive reception from viewers and fans. On April 12, 2024, Smosh Games announced that the new season would premiere as an audio-only podcast on April 17, 2024, which was met with considerable backlash from viewers and fans. However, in a statement posted on the same day, Smosh Games defended their decision, stating that it was the best solution to deliver on their promise while "also keeping up with their regular programming". Nonetheless, they mentioned that solutions would be made for those who are hard of hearing, and that they would prioritize video for other TTRPG content moving forward. In the Smosh Pit video, "Smosh After Dark Q+A", Shayne and Amanda mentioned how difficult it was to film the series across all aspects of production which was why the second season was released differently.
