Smosh Wiki:Staff

The Smosh Wiki Staff consists of Head Administrators, Bureaucrats, Administrators, or Sysop (System operator), and Rollbackers/Chat Keepers. These users have different functions than other users, in which making them the staff of the wiki. Please do not get confused with the Wikia staff, as they are the staff of Wikia itself.

User Hilite

User hilite allows quick color-coded identification of sysops, bureaucrats, rollbacks, chat moderators, VSTF members and wikia staff.

• Head Admins - Orange-Gold
• Bureaucrats - Sky Blue
• Administrators - Lime Green
• Rollbacks - Maroon
• Inactive / Banned / Unofficial Staff - Red

Wiki Staff

Head Administrators

A Head Administrator have the same abilities as a bureaucrat does, which can make other users into bureaucrats or administrators on their own wiki, although, these users have a higher recognition on the wiki with a more powerful maintenance imbalance.

Bureaucrats

A Bureaucrat can make other users into bureaucrats or administrators on their own wiki. Bureaucrats can also give users the ability to "rollback" edits not made in good faith.

Sysops

Administrators, or Sysops, have very special additional functions. These include deleting and undeleting pages, page histories, and uploaded files, locking (protecting) a page so it can't be edited or renamed by users without admin rights or autoconfirmed status, blocking IP addresses or user names from editing; and very quick "rollback" of undesirable edits, editing the interface by changing system messages and skins.

Rollbacks

A Rollback grants users with the ability to revert ones edit with a single click of the mouse. These reasons may include excessive vandalism, a poor edit, etc.

Unofficial Staff

The Inactive, Banned, and/or Unofficial members of the staff are staff members who are globally banned by Wikia, inactive users, and users who are no longer considered a part of the wiki staff. A common use of this section are for users who are bureaucrats whose rights cannot be revoked.
