Smosh Wiki

Shipping is the combination of names from two or more people, meant to signify a relationship between them, most often a monoamory romantic one, regardless its' status as real or fictional. A ship, derived from the word "relationship", may be romantic, platonic, or familial; shipping is used most generally in fan-fiction, as well as original source materials, however real life cases do co-exist. Fans who use shipping are known as "Shippers".

Popular Smosh Ships[]

NOTE: The more popular a ship is, the higher up on this list it is likely to be.

Duo Shipping[]

NOTE: this list includes romantic, platonic, and familial "ships" together.

Group Dynamic[]

The subset of shipping culture comes about with the idea of "dynamics": a platonic or otherwise non-romantic expression to existing relationships between members of a group, whether in said group or not. Group dynamics are most commonly platonic or familial, however polyamorous romantic connotations do exist.

Ian Calls Out Shippers[]

On January 28, 2016, Ian posted a Tweet about fans overusing Ianthony. While he isn't against people writing fan fiction, considering it to be "harmless fun", some fans have turned Ianthony from fan fiction to the real world. Fans have insisted that Anthony and him will be lovers someday, going so far as to have insulted and threatened women he posts pictures of on his social media. (Reference needed)
