Smosh Wiki

Sally and Emily are dolls owned and voiced by Anthony Padilla that were featured in the 2006 video Smosh Short 1: Dolls and its 2015 recreation DOLLS: 10 YEARS LATER. They are only dolls that are given names and have any speaking parts.

History[]

In the original Smosh short, Anthony is playing with the two dolls that he dubbed "Sally" and "Emily", giving them humorously high-pitched voices in an attempt to mimic a female voice. During his fantasy, Sally and Emily ask about each other's day and invite the other over to hang out. The scene gradually turns more sexual as the two dolls proceed to make out, at which point Ian walks in the door. After some time of Ian and Anthony staring at each other in shock, gasping for breath, Ian excitedly asks if he can play.

In the recreation, the same situation occurs, except Ian and Anthony are in their late twenties instead of teenagers.

In the BTS of the recreation, Anthony explained that the Sally and Emily clones are McDonald's Happy Meal toys from 1992. It could be that the original dolls were toys Ian or Anthony had owned since they were kids, as Ian and Anthony would have been five years old in 1992. However, this is only speculation, since neither of them know exactly where the first Sally and Emily came from or why either of them had them.

Description[]

Sally and Emily are both miniature Cabbage Patch dolls. Sally is a girl with brown hair and a pink dress. Emily is a girl with blonde hair and a purple and white tutu. In Anthony's in-universe fantasy, they seem to be attracted to each other as they are in the process of making out when Ian walks in.
