Synopsis[]
What happens when you start confusing video games with real life? For starters, the floor becomes HOT LAVA!
Plot[]
Introduction[]
Ian is playing on his Game Boy Advance and is very close to beating the lava level in Super Mario World, in his excitement he wakes up Anthony to let him know. Anthony slams Ian's GBA out of his hand and it lands inches from the fireplace, Anthony then proclaims he can't let him beat the level and if anyone's going to do it "It's Gonna Be Me"..
Ian gives Anthony a strange look and decides to go and pick up his Game Boy, but burns his foot on the floor, they then both realize that the floor has become lava and deduce that it is due to "Gameritis", a fictional condition where people believe everything in their game is real, just like when Ian played Grand Theft Auto and lost all sense of morality (the scene then cuts to Ian pushing Stevie out of a Mario Kart Go-Kart, stealing it and shooting him) and Anthony got addicted to Angry Birds (scene cuts to Anthony grabbing Stevie's pet parrot and throwing it at a pile of boxes to score points, and Ian shooting Stevie again). Ian and Anthony then decide to use the skills they learned playing Super Mario to cross the room over to the GBA.
World 1-1: The Epic Pit[]
Ian and Anthony play Rock, Paper, Scissors to see who will jump across the room, Anthony loses and proceeds to jump in to the air, but only lands in the same spot. Ian then sees a pipe by the kitchen and thinks they should try using it.
World 1-2: The Pipe[]
Ian and Anthony get stuck in the pipe (with Ian's face just below Anthony's buttocks) and Anthony tells Ian he ate a lot of Chipotle that day and proceeds to fart in Ian's face, forcing Ian to exclaim "F*ck You Chipotle!".
World 1-3: Get Big[]
Anthony decides that they must both eat mushrooms to "get big", which Ian confused with an enhancement leading him to confess that he's "always considered it" because girls tell him he is "wider than he is long". This confuses Anthony because he meant big as in "like Mario", Ian pretends that that was what he meant and they proceed to eat the mushrooms, which causes them to "enlarge" (in reality they just stand up on the worksurface).
World 1-4: The Final Stage[]
As they reach the table, Anthony asks Ian to get on his knees (to which Ian initially says "Dude, what are you trying to do to me") and let him get on top of him so he can jump over to the Game Boy (Ian still thinks it's f**ked up but lets him do it anyway), after he does this he attempts to finish the level. Ian then realises that Anthony's plan was to finish the game himself all along (which he denies) and the lava was not the enemy. Ian then hurls a brick at Anthony, causing him to drop the Game Boy and break it, after which he proclaims (to the Game Boy) "A life without you is a world I don't want to live in", he then yells "Goodbye Cruel World" and decides to jump in the lava, Anthony calls out to stop him but he lets himself fall off the table and into the "lava" and apparently burn to death.
Anthony is initially upset at the "loss" of his friend but then realizes his body makes a bridge across to a Wii U and walks across to it, but after he remembers there are no games for it he jumps into the lava to join Ian. While Anthony is flailing in pain, Ian wakes up and realizes he is not dead yet and continues flailing on the middle of the floor, no one has survived in this episode.

Ian Hecox as Himself
Trivia:[]
- Ian first yelled "Goodbye Cruel World" as the executive from Retarded Cats: The Movie, who was also played by Ian.
- Anthony called Ian by lastname "Hecox" for first and only time.
- The car Ian stole from Stevie was a Mario Kart (most likely Daisy's because it was orange but it had Mario`s emblem on it).
- When Anthony tells Ian "It's Gonna Be Me", the N*SYNC song "It's Gonna Be Me" plays in the background.
- The song "It's Gonna Be Me" has gained a popular internet following because of the misheard lyric as "It's Gonna Be May"; spawning various memes.
- The level that Ian is playing is Vanilla Dome 3 in Super Mario World.
- The line "Suck brick kid" is a reference to Home Alone 2.
- After this point, Smosh uses a new ending, where the "Related Video" is bigger than the "Behind The Scenes Video" and during the "To See More & Thanks For Subscribing" part, the videos don't pop out of the Epilogue any more, now they pop out from a part of the video.
- Anthony's and Ian's painful yell can be heard during the "To See More & Thanks For Subscribing" part.
- This video is a parody of "The Floor is Lava" game.
- In 2:24, Ian and Anthony have 87 coins. '87 is the year Ian and Anthony were born.
