"Pokémon In Real Life 2024" is a Smosh video, released on YouTube on January 12, 2024.

Description[]

The hipster is back and ready for a re-rematch.

Synopsis[]

Ash Ketchum (Anthony Padilla) is excited to explore a new region and encounter wild Pokémon, but he walks in front of an Aging Hipster (Ian Hecox), who demands him to a battle, to which he reluctantly accepts. Ash summons Pikachu (Courtney Miller), but the hipster tells Ash that, in the nine years since they last battled, he has studied his past mistakes and is now ready to defeat Ash once and for all. The hipster then summons Blastoise (Shayne Topp), which he claims is the most powerful Pokémon in the world. However, he soon makes a mistake after he realizes that he is battling against an electric-type Pokémon in the form of Pikachu. As Ash tells Pikachu to use Thundershock, the hipster tells Ash that he worked so hard to get to that point, and makes a plea to use any attack except for Thundershock. Ash accepts and uses the more powerful Thunderbolt instead, defeating Blastoise. The hipster then contemplates throwing the corpse of Blastoise in the trash like his other dead Pokémon, but Ash suggests visiting a Pokecenter, which just so happened to be located just beside where they fought. The hipster asks Ash to show how to revive a Pokémon like Blastoise. Ash reluctantly agrees, and the two carry Blastoise into the Pokecenter, leaving Pikachu outside.

After a while, the hipster successfully heals Blastoise and demands again to battle against Ash. However, Ash spots Pikachu trapped in a net, perpetrated by Team Rocket — James (Damien Haas) and Jesse (Amanda Lehan-Canto) — and their plan to steal a common Pokémon. Ash makes a plea to Team Rocket to release Pikachu, but they refuse, and instead plan to make a grand exit with their hot air balloon. However, James forgets to tie it down. He and Jesse then blame each other while making racy remarks, which makes the hipster laugh. Nonetheless, they brought a barrel of TNT with them as part of a devious plan that they forget, and the two summon Meowth (Chanse McCrary). Ash has no choice but to ask the hipster for help, but he refuses as Team Rocket does not do anything harmful to him. However, the hipster's scarf has gone missing and is also stolen by Team Rocket, with James pissing on the hipster's scarf. Outraged, the hipster demands Team Rocket to a battle and summons Blastoise. James tells gives Meowth a taser to attack Blastoise with a "Taser Attack", something that the hipster knows that using tasers is not allowed. James replies to the hipster saying that his outfit is not allowed to be worn in public. After this, James and Jesse experience a rising sexual tension between them, and while they do this, Ash and the hipster sneak Blastoise to the Pokemon Center. The hipster tells Blastoise to use Hydro Pump, but the attack misses, and instead lands on Professor Oak (Topp) who was doing some gardening, prompting him to perceive that it is a punishment for having sex with Ash's mother. Team Rocket then soon makes racy remarks, again causing sexual tension to rise between them. While they do this, Ash sneaks behind them and frees Pikachu. He then tells Pikachu to use Thundershock on the TNT barrel, blasting Team Rocket and Meowth away. Ash and the hipster wonder where the three end up, but the final shot shows the three in space, frozen to death.
