Peter Matthew Ditzler[1] (born October 15, 1998) is the social editor for Smosh, and has made a number of appearances in videos.
An ongoing bit done by many cast members, but started by Amanda, is that when something crazy happens, Peter is always to blame. She is usually the one to shout, "I swear to God, Peter!"
Outside of Smosh, Peter is a podcast host and producer, having co-hosted Beast Pod Official and Talking Talk (formerly Talking Talk Tuah).

in the Smosh fandom, it is widely agreed upon that Peter resembles American poet Edgar Allen Poe, often making jokes that Smosh has found a way to revive him.

- In How Well Do We Know Our Crew?, Peter admitted that he survived childhood Leukemia, but being so young he doesn't really remember that part of his own life.
- In the same episode, he has admitted that he has cried at a Lorde concert. This was because, as stated by Peter, he had just gotten over a breakup and Lorde had covered the song I’m on Fire by rock musician Bruce Springsteen.
