The outside of Pork E. Pine's is zoomed in and Ian is shown vocalizing his pleasure at the air conditioner blowing on him. Lori wants him to pass the time sheets, and Ian attempts to without moving from the air conditioner. Lori is not pleased and Ian defends his actions.
Pete comes in with a retainer, asking for a lost and found, which she procures for him. Pete is amazed at how small it is, but Lori informs him that the box is the overflow. Ian then reveals the existence of "The Room", whose mysterious existence is highlighted by suspenseful staccato music and quick camera zooms.
Lori takes Pete to the room, which is not impressive other than the fact that it is littered with items, which Pete remarks have to all together cost hundreds of dollars.
