Matthew "Matt" Duran is a current DIT/AE for Smosh and a former Assistant Editor. Before Defy Media shutdown, he also worked as a Social Media Editor for a company. He is one of the few crew members from the Defy Era to still work at Smosh as of 2024.
He was studying at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California, and at the University of California in Irvine.
