Marzia Kjellberg (born October 21, 1992, née Bisognin), formerly known online as CutiePie or CutiePieMarzia, is an Italian former YouTuber and the wife of Felix Kjellberg, known online as PewDiePie. Her now-inactive channel was mostly focused around vlogs and lifestyle videos. Marzia has also ventured into business, writing, and fashion designing.
In the past, she was featured in some WatchUsLiveAndStuff videos with Anthony, Kalel Smith and Felix; these videos have since become unavailable on YouTube.
History[]
Marzia started her YouTube career in 2012, with videos focused on fashion, beauty, makeup, DIY, books, movies, vlogs, hauls, and gaming. Although Italian, she spoke English to increase her target audience, and her YouTube channel became one of the most popular in the beauty and makeup genre, as well as the most subscribed channel in Italy.
Marzia was introduced to Felix Kjellberg (PewDiePie) by her friend Daizo, and they began dating in 2011. She soon moved to live with him in Sweden, and the two would later move to Italy before settling down in Brighton, England, where they currently live with their two pugs, Edgar and Maya. Felix proposed to Marzia in 2018, and the two married in August 2019 in London.
Since March 2015, Marzia has launched several lines of fashion and design merchandise including nail polish shades, home decor products, and most notably clothing. In 2016, she designed "Daisy" shoes through Project Shoe and later launched a product line with Zoya, a nail polish brand. In June 2017, Marzia launched Lemon, a clothing line paired with a fragrance. In July 2018, she launched Maì, a jewelry, pottery and home decor brand, which she maintains that brand along with Tsuki Market, a unisex clothing and homeware brand that she owns with Felix. Outside of marketing ventures, Marzia has also been a voice actress in various animated web series, such as Oscar's Hotel for Fantastical Creatures and Pugatory.
In October 2018, Marzia announced her retirement from her YouTube career, mentioning that at times, focusing on the website kept her in a bubble that negatively affected her mental health, although she resolved to reach out to others and that she was ready for "something new in [her] life." Her YouTube channel had accumulated over 128 million views and just under 7.5 million subscribers.
In Febuary 2023, Marzia and Felix announced Marzia's pregnancy and showed a scan of their baby. Later this year (in July 2023), the couple announced the birth of their baby,a boy called Björn.
