Joel Benjamin Rubin (born September 23, 1981) is the former EVP of Programming and Content for Smosh, a position he held from July 2022[1] to 2023, when he left the company that year after Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox jointly reacquired Smosh from Mythical Entertainment. [2] He was succeeded by Kiana Parker in December 2023.

Prior to working at Smosh, Rubin worked for numerous digital media companies such as Discovery Digital Networks Los Angeles (SourceFed), Rooster Teeth Productions, Machinima, Inc, Disney Channel, and UNINTERRUPTED. He was a co-founder and a former member (Channel Director of Programming and on-camera talent) of Funhaus.[1]
