Fictional history[]
- "These sheets have frosting on them! mmm yummy!"
- —A homeless man, after stealing Hecox's bedsheets[src]
In 2002, fifteen-year-old Hecox repeatedly soiled the bedsheets he used in his bedroom in his family's apartment after a series of wet dreams while beginning puberty. He cleaned his sheets at the local laundromat, but would occasionally lose them; after each instance, he lied to his mother that they had been stolen by ninjas.[1]
Another two weeks after starting puberty, Hecox once again soiled his bedsheets after a wet dream, after which he took his sheets to the laundromat to get them cleaned. Realizing that he forgot to bring money for the washing machine, Hecox left his bedsheets in the machine and returned to his apartment to retrieve change. On the way back, he was delayed due to an altercation with the apartment building's security guard, during which a homeless man had noticed the stain on Hecox's bedsheets at the laundromat and stole them, mistaking the stain for frosting. Hecox returned in time to see the homeless man fleeing the scene with his sheets while screaming about the "yummy" "frosting," forcing Hecox to once again return home without his bedsheets and lie to his mother that they had been stolen by ninjas.[1]
Two weeks after the incident at the laundromat, Hecox lost his successive sets of bedsheets a total of five times.[1]
