Smoshtober was a month-long event that occurred during October of 2016. It was announced on the video Smoshtober Announcement!, which was released September 28, 2016.

In the announcement it is stated that every Smosh channel (Smosh, Smosh 2nd Channel and Smosh Games) would be affected. There would be new series and shows on every channel during the month of October.
