"Okay, to confirm, you are at a Denny's, a diner known for their mediocre breakfast food and nothing else, but you want dinner. But not only that, you want that to be seafood, here, in a landlocked state."
—Lynn to Ian over the latter's choice of meal[src]
As Shayne is seated, he finds his hand stuck to his menu by dried syrup. He struggles to get his hands free and flails about in his seat to get the menu unstuck from his hand, only to have it end up stuck to his head. He tries to pull away a few times, to no avail.
Damien and Olivia are given the tab for their meal and, to their surprise, see that their meal only counts to $8. Their waiter Wendell asks if there is a problem and explains that the tab is actually how much they pay customers to eat their food. He asks if they would like more, to which Olivia and Damien mutually decline.
Shayne continues to struggle to remove his menu from his head, thrashing his head around while trying to rip the menu off.
Ian wants to order the grilled tilapia, a request that confuses his waitress Lynn. She asks Ian to confirm that he is aware that he is at Denny's, a diner known exclusively for their mediocre breakfast food and that he wants dinner, let alone seafood, in such a diner located in a landlocked state. Ian confirms and after Lynn, resigned, takes his menu and leaves.
Shayne manages to rip the menu off. Exhausted, he asks Lynn for a new menu. Lynn grabs one that is literally drenched in syrup; at that sight, Shayne settles on pancakes and coffee. After Lynn takes the menu away (but not without sticky difficulty), Shayne tries to clean himself off with a few napkins, but the napkins end up sticking to him.
Wendell asks Damien what he wants to order, but Damien has a problem: it is 6 pm and breakfast is still on the menu. Wendell reminds him that Denny's serves breakfast all day, which outrages Damien to the point of yelling how he thought they lived in a "society of laws" and states that Denny's will not receive his patronage today. Lynn comes over and sympathizes with Ian over his experience with another "society of laws guy", and both leave when Shayne, reading the menu, starts to have the opposite reaction.
A group of theater kids excitedly talk about their most recent performance, which they consider their best to date and their teacher, Mrs. Bird, mentioned the size of the audience was at least 17. Wendell arrives and asks for their order. The theater kids start to sing as a group their order as Ian turns away to grumble about how he hates theater kids.
As Wendell leads Olivia and Christina to their seats, they briefly mention how they have heard how springy Denny's seats are. As soon as Christina sits herself, she is launched through the roof into the sky. Olivia, stunned, asks a concerned Wendell to tell her when her friend lands.
Damien wants to order a salad. When Lynn asks why, he says that they are healthy. Lynn clarifies that Denny's salads are not healthy, since they just made out of pancakes. Damien asks what they have that is healthy, causing Lynn to order Damien to think long and hard about just where he is eating, and she will return later to take his order.

Wendell: "Well, thank you guys so much for watching Every Denny's Ever!" Lynn: "If you're gonna order up another video, make sure to click on it." Wendell: "Oh, that would be just lovely. But you know what else? If you guys want to order some Smosh coffee and wear a Smosh sweatshirt while you do it, you can check out that — on that store down there, silly!" Lynn: "Oh, Wendell!" Wendell: "Ho, Lynn!"
