Colonel Sanders (full name Harland David Sanders) is a character based on the fast food restaurateur and mascot of the same name. He debuted in 2019 and has been played by Ian Hecox, Courtney Miller, Shayne Topp, and Kimmy Jimenez.

Colonel Harland David Sanders (September 9, 1890 – December 16, 1980) was an American businessman, best known for founding fast-food chicken restaurant chain Kentucky Fried Chicken (also known as KFC) and later acting as the company's brand ambassador and symbol. He began selling fried chicken from his roadside restaurant in North Corbin, Kentucky, during the Great Depression, during which he developed his "secret recipe" and his patented method of cooking chicken in a pressure fryer. The first KFC franchise later opened in South Salt Lake, Utah in 1952. When his original restaurant closed, he devoted himself full-time to franchising his fried chicken throughout the country.

In 1964, Sanders sold the company to a group of investors led by John Y. Brown Jr. and Jack C. Massey for $2 million ($16.2 million today), but he did retain control of operations in Canada and he became a salaried brand ambassador for the brand. In his later years, he became highly critical of the food served by KFC, believing they had cut costs and allowed quality to deteriorate.

Colonel Sanders first appears in an advertisement for KFC's new "Crispy Fried Batter Bucket", a bucket of nothing but melted butter and fried chicken bits and crumbs. Because of the lack of actual chicken, the Colonel promises that KFC is committed to brutally killing a chicken for every bucket sold.

In another advertisement, the Colonel clears up a misconception regarding KFC; they do not make their fried chicken from any old chicken. Rather, they use only the worst chickens around, such as those in prison.

In another scene, a KFC employee (played by Courtney) viciously defends the Colonel's honor from two mocking customers (played by Ian and Damien). Courtney explains that Colonel Sanders is an American war hero, having fought in the Great Kentucky Chicken War of 1645, single-handedly killed hundreds of Nazis in nothing but a bulletproof vest for his butt, and rescued an entire chicken coop. After, Courtney confirms that the Colonel cooked and ate all of the chickens he had rescued.

Later, when everyone else is guessing what "KFC" stands for, Colonel Sanders appears next to the customer (played by Shayne Topp) and suggests that it stands for "Kisses From Colonel" and gives him a peck on the cheek.
