Aladdin is a character on Smosh based on the Disney character of the same name. He has been played by Noah Grossman and Damien Haas.

History[]

Aladdin is the main character of the 1992 Disney animated film Aladdin. He is voiced by American actor Scott Weinger, while his singing voice is provided by Brad Kane. He also stars in the two direct-to-video sequels The Return of Jafar (1994) and Aladdin and the King of Thieves (1996), as well as the animated television series based on the film. Canadian actor Mena Massoud played a live-action version of the character in the live action adaptation of the 1992 film.

A former street rat from the city of Agrabah, Aladdin spent much of his youth scraping for food and ducking guards with his monkey sidekick Abu. Through the manipulations (and bad luck) of the Sultan's advisor Jafar, Aladdin ends up in possession of a magical lamp that contains the powerful Genie, who helps the young thief win the heart of Princess Jasmine before they all get tangled up in Jafar's plot to overthrow the Sultan and take over Agrabah for himself.[1]

IF DISNEY MOVIES WERE REAL[]

In the segment based on Aladdin, Aladdin and Jasmine prepare to release the Genie from his lamp to have him grant them a wish. To their shock, however, when Aladdin rubbed the lamp, instead of the almighty Genie appearing in a cloud of blue smoke, the only thing that popped out is the bloodied, crush body parts of the Genie (and one of his gold bracers).[2]

The Little Mermaid SNAPPED - One Letter Off Disney Movies[]

A Scottish version of Aladdin says to Jasmine that he would "show [her] the world", but he is not sure what she is "aluddin'" to.[3]

Scottish Aladdin later appears when he proclaims Mulan to be fit to fight in the war, calling her "mulad" or "m'lad".[4]
